IE 9 is now available [Updated]
Market share gaining competitors such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have undoubtedly influenced Microsoft’s decision to release IE 9 in what looks like a step in the right direction. However, users with Windows XP will not be available to download IE 9. It looks like another attempt by Microsoft to have XP users upgrade to the latest OS. In my opinion it’s not a bad thing. I enjoy the look and feel and performance of Windows 7. Being mainly a Google Chrome user, I will definitely check out IE 9 to see what it has to offer. Download it here.
Update: Mozilla released Firefox 4 just 7 days after Microsoft released IE 9. According to TechCrunch, Firefox was downloaded twice as many times IE 9 was downloaded and it only took less than a day.
